Audio Book Kill or Cure: An Illustrated History of Medicine with Free MOBI EDITION!

Kill or Cure is a good overview of medicine throughout history. It is just that, an overview, and does not delve deeply into everything. It is not the most exciting book I have ever read and it should not be. The illustrations are very hard to read on kindle. They are probably smaller than the print version and there seems to be no way of making them larger. It is interesting to see the real evidence that some very old remedies work and still work although more refined by modern medicine. And some of the original ideas by medical "experts" of their own era were totally wrong, but sometimes held in high regard even after they had been found faulty. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an overview of medicine over several thousand years.
